13th Annual Bohuslav Martinu´s Singing Competition

From 16 to 18 October 2015, Prague will host the annual Bohuslav Martinu´s Singing Competition for students of music schools. The Competition is organized by the Secondary Music School of the City of Prague with the assistance of the Bohuslav Martinu Foundation and the Music Society of Zdena Janzurova for students of music schools, conservatories, private music schools and selective high schools with focus on music. The contest´s aim is to support interest in interpretation of songs by Czech as well as world composers with an emphasis on the work of B. Martinu. This competition also fills the empty space in singing competitions for students in the age from 10 to 20 years and the requirements are in accord with the abilities of the singers of that particular age group.
