Fantaisies Symphoniques on a new CD of Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra

Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra and its new chief conductor Vojtěch Spurný recorded a new CD with Martinů’s Fantaisies Symphoniques, H 343. The new recording was introduced at the press conference in Prague on 17 September. The second presentation will take place at the opening concert of the 70th season in Zlín on 1 October. This concert is also included in the programme of the festival Harmonia Moraviae 2015. The CD will be on sale from 1 October at the booking office of the Orchestra.

You can listen to an interview with the conductor Vojtěch Spurný and orchestra director Josef Němý in a radio programme Telefonotéka which was broadcast by Czech Radio Vltava on 16 September 2015. The guests were talking about the new CD, history of the Orchestra and choice of his name from the 21th minute. There is also included a part of the new recording.
