Wednesday 13 May 2026. The Concertgebouw Orchestra, conducted by Santtu-Matias Rouvali, will perform Martinů’s thrilling cello concerto with soloist Sol Gabetta.
Friday 15 May 2026. The Rudolfinum Consort will open the Martinů Fest 2026 in Polička. The concert will be preceded by a traditional memorial ceremony at the composer’s grave.
Saturday 23 May 2026. The ensemble Čarotaj performs original arrangements of folk songs and works by Bohuslav Martinů from the cycle Songs on Two Pages.
Sunday 24 May 2026. The Czech Double Reed Ensemble will perform a program featuring works by Handel, Smetana, Martinů, Beáta Hlavenková and film music.
Saturday 30 May 2026. The highlight of the festival will be the closing concert, featuring a unique ensemble comprising over 100 singers from men’s choirs across the Czech Republic.
