Monday 8 December 2025. Commemorative event on the 135th anniversary of the composer's birth. The event will include a discussion of the new book "Martinů and His World" (University of Chicago Press 2025).
Tuesday 9 December 2025. The festival's closing concert will feature Martinů's First Piano Concerto, Sinfonietta La Jolla, and Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun.
Wednesday 10 December 2025. The final event of the "Martinů Walks Through Prague" project will be a gala concert by the Zemlinsky Quartet with a lecture by Aleš Březina.
Friday 5 December 2025. A musical and dance project paying tribute to Czech music was prepared by the Young Brno Symphony Orchestra and the Hradišťan Dance Ensemble.
Thursday 11 December 2025. Students from the Mannes School of Music will perform opera, song, chamber, and piano compositions by Martinů, his role models, and authors he inspired.
Thursday 11 December 2025. An evening entitled "Clarinet Sensation" brings together the Zemlinsky Quartet with two leading clarinetists, Irvin Venyš and Igor Františák.
Friday, 12 December 2025. The concert features Tyler Sexson, recipient of the prestigious Martinu Prize. The program also highlights the iconic music of Martinů himself and Igor Stravinsky.
