In addition to his exceptional music, Bohuslav Martinů also left behind a large number of texts, newspaper articles, essays, reflections, and correspondence. Robert Roth will read from the composer's reflections not only on music and art, but also on the times in which he lived. The selection of texts was prepared by Andrej Šuba and Mária Boháčová.
The international chamber music festival Convergence has prepared a program for October dedicated to the work of Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů (1890–1959), one of the most important figures in 20th-century music.
