Director Salomé Im Hof invites the audience into the world of the Epic of Gilgamesh, a timeless tale of friendship, power, human limits, and the search for meaning. What can this ancient story tell us today? What does it mean to be a hero in our time?

The production combines music, drama, electronics, projections, and unconventional narrative techniques within the evocative space of the Skulpturhalle at the Antikenmuseum Basel.
