In November, two book launches will be held for further volumes of the critical edition of Bohuslav Martinů's correspondence.
The first will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, in Prague as part of the Bohuslav Martinů Days festival. The opening concert of the fourth decade of the festival will be preceded by a ceremonial presentation of three new volumes attended by the authors and other guests. These volumes contain the composer's correspondence with his family, Frank Rybka, and Karel Šebánek.

The Czech-English edition, produced by a team from the Department of Music Education at Palacký University's Faculty of Education, already comprises 12 volumes. Some of them can be purchased in print, and all volumes are available as e-books. You can gain insight into all aspects of Martinů's life through his letters to family and friends, as well as to the poet Miloslav Bureš and the diplomat and journalist Miloš Šafránek.
