The unbridled energy of a leading string quartet combines with the colorful tones of two top clarinet professors in a program featuring works by compositional giants. From Leoš Janáček, a native of Lachia, and his passionately dramatic quartet, they move on to the combination of two clarinets with a string quartet in a modern work by Bohuslav Martinů.
