As part of the “Gaités parisiennes” series, the Paris Opera Orchestra presents a playful and elegant chamber programme full of charm and wit. Bohuslav Martinů’s La Revue de Cuisine, based on his satirical ballet, opens the concert with lively rhythms, vibrant colors, and characteristic humor. The programme is complemented by two works by Francis Poulenc: the lyrical and refined L’Invitation au château and the exuberant Le Bal masqué. The result is a diverse and stylish concert, blending humor, lightness, and the subtle sophistication of French 20th-century music.
