Martinů Walks Through Prague | Exhibition opening 8. 4. 2026

We invite you to the opening ceremony of an exhibition that explores the life and work of Bohuslav Martinů in connection with Prague, where the young composer studied and worked from 1906 to 1923. The exhibition was organized by the Bohuslav Martinů Institute to mark the 30th anniversary of its founding, and its tour of other cultural institutions will continue into 2026. Its next stop is the foyer of the Chamber Hall at the Prague Conservatory, where the exhibition will be on view from April 9 to June 25, 2026.

The opening of the exhibition Martinů Walks Through Prague will take place on Wednesday, April 8, at 5:00 pm. It will be introduced by Ivo Kahánek, director of the Prague Conservatory, and Aleš Březina, director of the Bohuslav Martinů Institute. The program will include a short concert and a lecture by Aleš Březina.
