František Pospíšil passed away at the age of 83
On March 11, violinist, pedagogue and conductor František Pospíšil passed away at the age of 83. Pospíšil premiered Bohuslav Martinů's Bergerettes for violin, cello and piano, H 275 with Foerster Trio thanks to his meeting with Charlotte Martinů. The Bergerettes were recorded for Czechoslovak Radio in 1965.
