The Bohuslav Martinů Revue is out now

The Bohuslav Martinů Revue has released its first issue of 2019. The volume covers a diverse spectrum of content including reviews of the Bohuslav Martinů Days, an obituary honoring musicologist Graham Melville-Mason, a feature on Japanese pianist Yukiko Sawa, exciting news regarding the Bohuslav Martinů Wikipedia page, and much more!

Whether it be through the research of new Martinů primary sources dating back to WWII or the discussion of the 4th Festival of Piano Teaching Literature gradus ad parnassum for children, the issue highlights Martinů’s relevance in the 21stcentury.  This edition of the Bohuslav Martinů Revue spotlights the voices of various musicians, authors, and composers to illustrate the expansive impact Martinů’s work has had on artists and listeners around the world and throughout time. Martinů’s legacy lives on within the pages of the Revue, and the latest issue hopes to connect readers to the vibrant musical community which keeps his memory alive.
