The successful album with Martinů's songs released by Supraphon (Songs on One Page, H 294, Songs on Two Pages, H 302, New Slovak Songs, H 126, and The New Chapbook, H 288), featuring soprano Martina Janková, baritone Tomáš Král and pianist Ivo Kahánek, received CD of the Month by the German music magazine Opernwelt. It is yet another of the praiseworthy reviews and awards of magazines and music web sites, such as Diapason, Le Monde, MusicWeb International, or Gramophone.

“The song cycles created in the American exile form the focus of the excellent program, with which the soprano Martina Janková and her baritone colleague Tomáš Král as well as the pianist Ivo Kahánek quasi rehabilitate the "songmaster" Martinů. The three artists perform the 52 songs of the album in an exemplary, non-pathetic, simple way; the tone of voice always remains light, fresh, playful, as of course also in the joy of love and love-suffering, without any exclamation marks and exaggerated pathos. A model interpretation by these exemplary guardians of the vocal intimate art of Bohuslav Martinů.”
