Bohuslav Martinů Days 2021 | Wihan Quartet and B. Martinů Foundation

17. 12. 2021 / 7:30–9:00 p.m.
Liechtenstein Palace, Martinů Hall

The festival will be concluded by a concert of the “home team” from the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation, the festival’s organiser. The Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board both include leading Czech musicians, and together they have prepared a fabulous programme from the works of Martinů, his Paris mentor Albert Roussel, and his contemporary Paul Hindemith. The pianist Ivo Kahánek, the cellist Michal Kaňka, the clarinettist Jiří Hlaváč, the flautist Žofie Šrámková, and the organist Michal Novenko will pay tribute to the composer from Polička. They will be excellently supported by the Wihan String Quartet.
