Czech children play Martinů for the Czech Centrer New York

Children from the Arts Elementary School Kladno recorded compositions on the occasion of Year of Martinů under the guidance of Ing. Michaela Bernášková, the principal of the school. Hynek Kubát Arts Elementary School (ZUŠ) in Kladno has been offering the home of arts for children in Kladno for more than 70 years. In 2022, school will commemorate it's 75th anniversary. In recent years, the shool has been involved in multimedia production education in cooperation with the Fabrika studio. The videos prepared for the 180th anniversary of A. Dvořák's birthday and for the 130th anniversary of B. Martinů's birthday are also a result of this cooperation. Piano piece Columbine Dances from Puppets, H 137, Sonatina for Violin and Piano, piece from Spring in the Garden arranged for two guitars and Dvořák’s Humoreska are part of project for the Czech Center New York, celebrating the 80 years anniversary of Martinů’s crossing of the Atlantic ocean.
