Online lecture: Adolf Loos, European

Adolf Loos, a native of Brno, is one of the great figures in modern world architecture. He also belongs to a number of personalities whom Bohuslav Martinů met in Paris. The Prague City Muzeum organized a lecture on his life and work on 27 January 2022. Its recording in Czech language is available online on Youtube:

The lecture was prepared by PhDr. Dagmar Černoušková from the Brno City Museum, which has been dealing with the work of Adolf Loos for a long time. She also mentioned his contacts with the painter Jan Zrzavý and Bohuslav Martinů (time from 0:47:10). Another lecture named “Herzlichste Grüsse mein lieber Zrzavý. The episode of Adolf Loose and Jan Zrzavý in Paris", where Bohuslav Martinů will be mentioned more, will take place on March 16, 2022. The place and time will be specified later.
