New double issue of Martinů Revue about the critical edition
New double issue (2-3 2022) of the magazine Martinů Revue is dedicated to the biggest project of Martinů scholarship and Czech musicology in general: the Bohuslav Martinů Complete Edition. The issue includes interviews with Jonáš Hájek, the chief editor of the project at Bärenreiter Prague publishing house, and the pianist Ivo Kahánek, who participated on the preparation of the fourth piano concerto. Professor Giselher Schubert presents the problems of thirteenth volume that will include three versions of the first cello concerto.
Other interesting articles are presented in the issue, concerning new publications, activities of Bohuslav Martinů Institute and Foundation, and compositions celebrating their centenary this year.
