New issue of Martinů Revue

Dear Readers,

it is our pleasure to present you a new issue of Martinů Revue.

It is again a full-color issue, and we can enjoy the recent photos from Nice, where Peter Veber researched the traces of Martinů's stay in this French city. A city where Martinů wrote his famous cantata Opening of the Springs:
(pages 6-8) – The Opening of the Springs, or Sumer on the Beach in Nice

The famous cellist and IMC member Tomáš  Jamník gives an emotional review of the very successful tour of the Brno Philharmonic in the USA:
(page 14-15) – Standing Ovation for the Brno Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall

On pages 12-13 you can meet the Japanese conductor Tatsuya Shimono. In an interview with our IMC members Yukiko Sawa and Yasuko Ogida confesses his admiration for Martinů's music and personality.
