This musical-theatrical performance of Bohuslav Martinů’s cantata The Opening of the Springs is a collaborative project by students from the music and drama departments of the HAP PZ. Inspired by the poetry of Miloslav Bureš, the work is among the composer’s most lyrical and beloved compositions, capturing the return of spring, the renewal of the landscape, and the spiritual rebirth of humanity.
The work will be performed on two dates:

June 14, 2026, Ledeč nad Sázavou, High School, Voices of Three Worlds Festival
