23rd edition of the Festival Bohuslav Martinů Days dedicated to prof Václav Riedlbauch

23rd edition of the festival celebrating works of the world known Czech composer of modern classical music Bohuslav Martinů will take place in Prague from 5th to 20th December. This year’s edition is dedicated to the memory of prof. Václav Riedlbauch, former director of the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation, who passed away in November.

For four years now, Bohuslav Martinů Days Festival comprise of the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation’s concerts as well as events organized by other institutions and orchestras – for example Czech Philharmonic (the closing concert of the festival with conductor Semjon Byčkov) or Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra (with soloist Maxim Rysanov and conductor Michal Neserowicz). The Bohuslav Martinů Foundation also collaborates with the Prague Conservatory, Academy of Performing Arts in Prague or Prague Spring International Music Festival.
