ISA19 Award for the best interpretation of Martinů's work for Quasi Duo

Award for an outstanding interpretation of a work by Bohuslav Martinů at International Summer Academy 2019 organized by Univerzität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna was given to the Quasi Duo (Marie Hasoňová - violin, Judita Škodová - cello) for their performance of Duo for Violin and Violoncello No. 2, H 371 by Bohuslav Martinů. International Summer Academy is the summer campus of the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. This annual event sees more than 300 gifted students from all over the world come together for two weeks of master classes. The award is sponsored by the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation.

Marie Hasoňová, Judita Škodová

Marie Hasoňová is a laureate of many international competitions, for instance the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition 2018. Judita Škodová now wins award for an outstanding interpretation of a work by Bohuslav Martinů at International Summer Academy for the fourth time. As a member of the Quasi Trio, Judita has won the 2nd prize at the B. Martinů Competition in 2014 and also the prize for the best interpretation of Martinů's work.

The Chamber Music Award goes to another Czech representative, Trio Incendio (Filip Zaykov - violin, Vilém Petras - cello, Karolína Františová - piano), who regularly collects prizes from international competitions and last year became an absolute winner in the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition in Prague.
