Artists around the London-based NONCLASSICAL label led by composer and DJ Gabriel Prokofiev by will be joined onstage by leading piano virtuoso Lada Valešová, violin wunderkind Tereza Anna Přívratská and vibrant mezzo-soprano Lucie Špičková in a unique attempt to reimagine some of Martinů’s most influential chamber pieces in real time. Tickets are available via the venue's website.

Inspired by Martinů is the first of the series conceived by the Czech Centre London with the aim to reimagine works of the Czech classical music icons such as Antonín Dvořák, Leoš Janáček or Bohuslav Martinů whose 125th birth anniversary is celebrated this year.

In line with the “Inspired by Martinů” spirit, Czech Centre London and Nonclassical are also opening a call for submissions for a remix competition that invites music producers to reimagine, rework, and turn upside down Martinů's Symphony No. 4. Chosen by an expert jury, the most successful remixes will be played at the Forge, and the overall winner will be awarded a cash prize. Deadline is set to October 15th.
