Bamberger Symphoniker with Jakub Hrůša performed at the end of January program featuring John Cage (4‘33“), Johannes Brahms (Symphony No. 4) and Bohuslav Martinů (Fantaisies Symphoniques). On this occasion David Nice interviewed president of the International Martinů Circle about Bohuslav Martinů's symphonies, the Czech sound of the Bamberger Symphoniker or Hrůša's relationship with Jiří Bělohlávek, which is also the main topic of the Hrůša's text published in Martinů Revue 2.2016 and 3.2016.

"It's interesting to observe that in every orchestra, ultimately Martinů's music works, if you do it with full passion and attention and if you choose pieces well... and, as conductor at least, are fully convinced of what you do, in the end the orchestra is won over by Martinů." Jakub Hrůša in the interview with David Nice.
