Martinů at Dvořák Prague Festival 2023

Since 2008, the Dvořák Prague Festival has been offering more than two weeks filled with beautiful music and extraordinary cultural events inspired by the life and creative legacy of one of the world’s greatest musical geniuses.

Apart from its stellar performers and ample programme mainly dedicated to the most famous Czech composer, visitors of the 16th edition of Dvořák Prague Festival will have the chance to hear several pieces by Bohuslav Martinů, too.

Concertino Praga | Talent Stage

The relaxed atmosphere and modern architecture of the Bořislavka Centre will harmonize, as it were, with the passion of the chosen entrants competing in the competition Concertino Praga 2023, who will not be playing in the final round. Violinist Raphael Gisbertz will play Martinů's Five Madrigal Stanzas, H 297.

Concertino Praga | Final Competition Round in Concert

The final concert of the Concertino Praga competition in the Chamber Music Category. Martinů's Sonatina for clarinet and piano, Sonata No. 3 for violin and piano and Czech Rhapsody for violin and piano can be heard.

Concertino for Piano Trio and String Orchestra

The scholarship holders of the Academy of Chamber Music, Tomáš Jamník, Josef Špaček and Roman Rabinovich, will perform in the program series For the future.
