Echoes of Bohuslav Martinů Days Festival

The 27th year of Bohuslav Martinů Days festival took place in December in Prague under strict pandemic restrictions. For everyone who couldn’t enjoy the beautiful pieces in the Martinů Hall of Liechtenstein Palace, the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation presents video recordings of four festival evenings. Two concerts belong to young musicians, laureates of this and last year’s B. Martinů Foundation Competition. The second half of recordings presents the artistic excellence of established musicians, Josef Suk Piano Quartet, Wihan Quartet and members of the Administrative and Supervisory Board of BMF, the pianist Ivo Kahánek, flutist Žofie Šrámková, organist Michal Novenko and clarinetists Jiří Hlaváč and Irvin Venyš, the new director of BMF.
