The world known harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani releases new CD with harpsichord concertos of Bohuslav Martinů, Hans Krása and Viktor Kalabis under the Hyperion Records label on 3rd of February 2023. The Concerto for Harpsichord and Small Orchestra, H 246 from 1935 was recorded by the Prague-based artist with Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Alexander Liebreich.→ More

Romance for violin and piano in world premiere with Frank Peter Zimmermann
Romance for Violin and Piano, dating from 1930, was found by the musicologist Natálie Krátká in the National Library of Israel in Jerusalem. The world premiere will take place on 10th January in Wigmore Hall in London. The star performers are violinist Frank Peter Zimmermann and pianost Martin Helmchen. The piece was already performed by Petr Nouzovský and Martin Kasík in transcription for cello and piano on the benefit concert of B. Martinů Institute in Prague in November.→ More
